Seniors Kelly Adams and Natalie Bachman brought Wednesday Addams into the modern day with their outfits. A little black dress, some tights, and pigtails can go a long way! This costume is also living proof that you can slay your look on a budget; Kelly got her entire outfit (velvet choker included!) for less than $20.

In the twenty-first century, Halloween typically means a parade of groan-inducing, unoriginal costumes. Girls have little option but to be scantily clad, and guys are on the opposite end of the spectrum, with horrendous baggy outfits that leave everything to the imagination. However, several SLS students came dressed to impress with creative and stylish takes on some classic costumes.
Sarah Powless, ’18, served some out of this world looks with her alien attire. The combination of her dark lipstick, mesh top, ankle boots, and metallic skirt is flawless and decidedly not tacky. A perfect example of DIY!
Two more seniors, Gracie Zaro and Will Reed, took their geriatric grade level extremely seriously. As an elderly married couple, Will and Gracie demonstrated that youth is not a prerequisite for having fun. They had the whole Sentinel staff planning a trip to Waveny Care Center! Gracie gets bonus points for keeping in such good shape at her old age.
Sentinel Editor in Chief Colette Juran got into the Halloween spirit three days early with her spooky skeleton sweater. You don’t have to be out of dress code to deliver scares!
