Next week, the English Department will be hosting a poetry reading to highlight student poets in the St. Luke’s Community in celebration of student voices. On February 5th from 6:00-7:30pm, in the new humanities wing, students and teachers will have an open stage to express their innermost thoughts and sentiments.

Students are encouraged to read a piece of their own work or recite their favorite published poem. They may also elect to share a short piece of writing as opposed to a conventional poem.

If you’re not a writer, but you want to come support your talented peers, come at 6:00pm for sandwiches, cookies, pretzels and a fully equipped hot cider bar!
